Playing Two Truths and a Lie in the UFC
UFC Two Truths statements are built from four kinds of fact: the country a fighter represents, the decades they fought in, the weight class they competed at, and the gym they fight out of. The gym is the one to be careful with, because it is recorded as the fighter's current camp rather than a history -- a statement about a famous earlier gym can be the lie even though it was once true. Decade statements cut the other way: a long career touches more decades than you expect, so "Fought in the 2000s" is true of more veterans than it sounds.
