Career totals in the UFC build slowly -- most fighters compete two or three times a year -- so the biggest numbers belong to the fighters who stayed on the roster for a decade, not only to the most dangerous ones. How a fighter wins matters as much as how often: someone who goes the distance in most fights piles up significant strikes round after round, while a first-round finisher can hold a title with a modest career total. When two names feel equal, lean toward the one with more fights and more decisions.
