How to Play

Odd One Out

5 rounds. Each shows 4 real players and states what 3 of them share. Pick the one that doesn't belong -- right or wrong, the true answer is revealed immediately.

Rules

  • The shared category is stated up front every round -- you're not guessing what it is, only which player fails to meet it.
  • A single click locks in your answer for that round; there are no retries within a round.
  • All 5 rounds are always played out; get all 5 correct for a perfect day.

Tips

  • Check the stated category against all 4 players directly, one at a time, rather than guessing which name feels least familiar.
  • The odd player out is often a real, notable name too -- fame is not a signal here.

Common Mistakes

  • Picking the least recognizable player as a shortcut instead of actually checking the category against each name.
  • Misreading the category's scope (e.g. a specific team era vs. the team in general) and picking based on the wrong version of the criterion.
